The price
We give you a firm price on the phone before we set off, all taxes included, travel included. Our technician confirms that price at your door before starting. If the situation is different from what you described, we show you and give you a new price. You're free to say no and pay only the call-out fee of 60 € VAT included. We never charge for work you didn't accept. Surcharges: evenings (6 pm to 10 pm) and Saturdays +50%, nights, Sundays and public holidays +75%, always told to you on the phone before we set off.
Cancelling
Belgian law normally gives consumers 14 days to change their mind about a contract made by phone or at their door. That right does not apply when you expressly ask us to come out for urgent repair or maintenance work (article VI.53, 8° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law); you confirm this on our job sheet. Anything we do on top of the urgent job keeps the 14-day right, and a non-urgent job booked for a later date keeps it in full.
Payment
Bank transfer, payment link, or cash with a receipt. You always get an invoice. VAT is 6% for a private home first occupied at least 10 years before the invoice and used mainly as a dwelling, and 21% otherwise and for businesses. We tell you which rate applies on the phone.
Late payment
If you're a consumer, we first send a free reminder and wait 14 calendar days. Only after that can late interest and a capped indemnity apply, within the limits of article XIX.4 of the Code of Economic Law. If we owe you money and pay late, the same applies in your favour.
Our 30-day comeback guarantee
If the pipe we unblocked blocks again at the same place and for the same cause within 30 days, we come back free of charge. Not covered: wipes, grease, roots, broken or collapsed pipes, blockages elsewhere or caused after our visit, backflow from the public sewer, and anything a third party did in between. This guarantee is on top of your legal rights and does not reduce them.
Complaints
Write to info@prodebouchage24.be or call 0480 649 649; we answer within seven working days. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service mediates free of charge: Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, www.mediationconsommateur.be. The EU online dispute resolution platform closed permanently on 20 July 2025. Belgian law applies; the competent courts are those designated by articles 624 and following of the Belgian Judicial Code.
